A: 1. Smart Card Application (Nonghyup) – For new students, the department applies for the card at the beginning of the semester and the card is issued by the school Nonghyup bank.

Q : Who is eligible for the comprehensive exam?
A: 1. Eligibility for the comprehensive examination: Those who have completed 15 or more credits in the master's program and 24 or more credits in the doctoral program (major courses only - excluding research supervision courses)
2. The number of examination subjects is 3 for master's degree and 4 for doctoral degree, and the department designates the examination subjects, and the Graduate School announces the subjects when the examination is announced.
3. A score of 70 or higher is considered a pass on the comprehensive exam.
4. Failed subjects must be retaken and passed individually. After passing the comprehensive examination, the student is granted the right to submit a thesis/dissertation. -

A: Each year, the admission guidelines for new students are announced on the Graduate School website under Admissions > Recruitment Guidelines,

Q: How do I take the Research Guidance 1 and 2 courses?
A: You can take Research Guidance 1 from the second semester, and you can take Research Guidance 2 in the semester after taking Research Guidance 1 (for students who entered in 2012). Research Guidance is a required major subject, so you must check to make sure you have not missed it when registering the courses.
Q: When do I submit my research guidance evaluation?
A: After completion of the research guidance course, the research guidance evaluation should be signed by the advisor at the end of each semester and submitted to the Graduate School by the student. -
Q: What happens when a lecture is closed?
A: After the course registration correction period ends, closed courses are selected according to the class assignment guidelines and notified to each department. -
Q : When can I apply for a leave of absence?
A : - Based on Article 21 of the Academic Regulations, it is possible within 2 weeks after the final registration period for the relevant semester, and a leave of absence application must be submitted to the Graduate School Academic Affairs Department.
- You cannot take a leave of absence during the first semester after admission.

A: Those eligible to submit a thesis are those who have registered for at least 24 credits in a master's program or at least 30 credits in a doctoral program and have passed the comprehensive examination (for students admitted after the 2013 academic year).

A: 1. 6 additional credits must be completed in addition to the graduation credits for thesis substitution (Graduate School of Welfare Management only)

Q : How do I apply for a certificate?
A : - Available certificate types: degree certificate, enrollment certificate, transcript, certificate of completion
- Certificates can be issued in both Korean and English.
- How to receive the certificates
1. Visit a nearby district office or elementary, middle, or high school to apply for a FAX civil petition and receive it.
2. Visit the Graduate School Academic Affairs Office ( Knowledge Information Center Room 15213 ) in person to receive it.
3. Certificates can be issued through the Namseoul National University website’s Internet Certificate Issuance and on-campus unmanned issuance system.
Q : When can I receive the certificate of educational expenses paid?
A: The certificate of payment is to be issued after the end of the semester.
However, for the purpose of company submissions (and other institutional submissions), we will issue a payment receipt as proof of tuition payment. -
Q : What is the registration period?
A: Course registration information is posted on the Graduate School website about 2-3 weeks before the start of each semester and sent via SMS.
Q : How do I sign up for a course?
A : 1. Go to the Namseoul Portal site (http://portal.nsu.ac.kr).
2. ID is your class number and PASSWORD is the last 7 digits of your resident registration number.
3. After logging in, go to "Academic Administration System > One Stop Service > Student Services > Classes/Grades > Course Registration".
4. If you haven't evaluated a course from the previous semester, you cannot register for a course.
