Introduction

The Department of Nursing was designated as a home nursing care education institution by the Korea Accreditation Board of Nursing (KABON) in August 2016, and accordingly, it has developed a curriculum for home nursing care and recruited professors who are experts in the field. The department has signed a practicum agreement with the home nursing care center of a prestigious hospital in Korea, which is expected to enhance the quality of education and training provided.

Educational Objectives

  • The educational objective of the department is to cultivate professional nurses who practice the spirit of love and service as well as sharing and care by respecting human dignity while applying professional knowledge and skills in practice.
  • The department contributes to the academic development of nursing through systematic theoretical education and scientific inquiries and equips students with excellent clinical judgment and practical skills through practicums provided via an advanced home nursing care center, thereby creating a new field of health care
