Introduction
The Department of Architectural Engineering aims to produce highly skilled manpower who can play a key role in innovation and continuous development of the construction industry, which is a backbone industry.
Through liberal arts education in the disciplines of the humanities, social sciences and culture, students can develop a macroscopic view of industry and society, hone planning and management skills and develop a sense of responsibility and community to serve as a proactive and progressive leader. In addition, the department cultivates character and social skills and promotes ethical awareness that enables students to become sound democratic citizens. In addition to cultivating cooperation skills through group activities, the department helps students gain global competence with an excellent understanding of different cultures all over the world. The education on design helps students strengthen their basic skills as an engineer, identify issues in real-life engineering technology and solve them. Students gain “living knowledge” in their major in connection with the industry and basic knowledge of economics and business administration.

Foster professionals in related areas such as architecture, construction management, building construction, building environment and building facilities through the practical education and training so that they can contribute to the industrial field and train professionals with advanced skills to play a pivotal role in the global market
Program Characteristics
The vision of the Graduate School of Architectural Engineering at Namseoul University is to “train manpower for high value-added green construction.” There are three specializations: Architectural Structure, Construction Management and Building Work, and Building Environment and Facilities.
Specialization courses have been established for students to study and acquire the core skills in their respective fields.
