Introduction

Information and communication engineering, which will help meet the demands of modern society, which is growing increasingly more complex and advanced, and play a key role in the future information society, is a convergence discipline that combines wired and wireless communication engineering, electronic engineering and software engineering. In order to better deal with the rapidly changing digital communication technology and IT industry, students in the department learn core theories on information and communication engineering and gain advanced skills in relation to next-generation mobile communication, high-speed communication networks and communication hardware and software design. In addition, the department focuses on cultivating competent information and communication experts by providing systematic training on the core technologies and the latest applied technologies in the field of next-generation digital communication systems that will play a key role in creating a ubiquitous information society.

To this end, the department offers courses on basic theories, high-speed communication network management, communication circuit design, digital image processing and communication, convergence and application of broadcasting and communications, etc., and fosters competent information and communication professionals.
